Rally Point & Time: 0830 at the Starbucks at Arena Blvd. & I-5.  TFBECO at 0915.

We are riding DAM IT.  The SHASTA DAM that is.  And that means a route that wanders around the high country, thru Lassen Park with a quick stop on Highway 299 as we await our turn to travel past the construction zone.

On Saturday morning we saddle up for the DAM ride.  Docents are prepared to take us on the DAM tour where we will see the great Shasta Dam from the comfort of the DAM overlook.  Then we will travel the DAM road down to the DAM powerhouse.  We will walk thru this DAM powerhouse and then enter into the DAM itself.

Techy heads unite...   It's a DAM tour to be there for.

Those of you wondering why we are doing this...   well, it's an anniversary sort of...   The anniversary of EXR meeting Brian and Renná for the first time in Redding, CA about, oh, a million years ago.  And we will stop by the Sundial Bridge that spans the mighty Sacramento river in Redding, CA.
