Rally Photography

There are four distinct photography events happening during the rally weekend.  “Uncle Mark” Griner is both the EXR photographer and coordinator of these activities.

The first event is the group photograph to be taken on Friday evening at approximately 8:30pm.  We ask that all rally participants gather in the main lobby of the hotel.  Uncle Mark will be up on the 2nd or 3rd floor overlook ready to take a few shots.  This should only take a few minutes.

The second event involves Uncle Mark and his crew taking live-action photos of riders on the road.  They’ll be positioned along Hwy 41 between the Yosemite entrance and the Glacier Point Road turnoff to take action shots of riders.  These photos will be part of a photo montage presented Saturday evening at the banquet.  They will also be made available to you via email simply by request.

The third event is where you come in with your camera.  If you’re willing to share any of your digital photographs taken during the rally to be included in the Saturday night montage, please seek out Uncle Mark Saturday afternoon up until about 5pm.  These can be photos of any aspect of the weekend: at the hotel, in the park, during seminars, or capturing a beautiful view.  Bring your camera and/or memory card and he’ll upload a copy of your images to the montage program.  We’d love to get as many candid shots from our rally riders as possible.  One word of caution; make sure there are no, uh, personal photographs in your camera or memory card before handing it over to Uncle Mark.  All your memory files will be returned intact.

The fourth event is a portrait area that will be set up during the Saturday Banquet.  You’ll be able to get single, couples or small group photographs with your new riding buddies taken at your discretion. Once again, these images will made available to you via email for your own photo albums by request.

Our rally photography events help us capture the memories.  Step up and be part of them!
